Art days

well Im not exactly sure if I would classify these days as "art days" but there is a definite contrast between how much work im doing now versus how much I was doing during the last year at FSU. Here are some things.

Drawing for litho project. the actual lithographs didnt come out cuz it was my first attempt at lithography.

1 of 6 of the same litho prints. I would say copies but each litho print took about an hour or more to produce so calling them copies is a bit of an understatement.

2d project from last spring. I drew a silhoutte of a geisha girl on poster board, cut it out using an exacto knife, covered it in fabric from a fabric store and used black construction paper on the hair and the shoes.

painting Im workin on for a commission. This is very very much in the works. Its based on a lithograph I did last spring.seen below.

And Im almost finished with the girl painting below. So things are going well I guess.

Thats right I moved into this house with this kid ive known since way back and I convinced him to let me use the third bedroom as a studio. Hahaha Its great I have my own room to paint!!

21 Jump Street

Last night I went out to a bar with one of my old friends and some of his friends. After a while I figured out that one of his friends was a cop. But this kid was like only a year older than me and was like 5ft 8 and mabye weighed like a buck 30 in the rain. I swear but he is a cop. Well apparently he is a cop in the Hamptons in New York but he is still a cop. Haha actually when he assed out I got this girl to go steal his badge so we could take pictures with it ( We gave it back afterwards) haha I think its illegal so dont tell anyone.

Anyway he reminded me of 21 Jumpstreet which is like one of my favorite shows. My girlfriend just sent me season 3 on dvd and I watched it in like a week. Now I wanna be a cop man. I mean I could be like a 21 Jumpstreet cop! I got great hair and I would make a great idealistic cop that goes from school to school busting people who do things like hack into school computer systems and change grades. But Id be more like Richard Grieco's character than Johnny Depp's cuz Depp was a whinny little girl on that show. Grieco was the man and got all the ladies.
